It's in the coloration of the clouds in the sky. It's in the warm green of the trees. It's in the idelic inviting feel of the road leading into such a quiet scene. It's in the golden of the wild oats. It's in the shadows being cast by the morning sun. It's in the movement of the plane from left to right. It's in the lacking of a photographic quality where the image is caught between photographic and painterly. Hope this helps.

I would clone out the plane, and I would also like to see it without the blur, or at least with a more subdued blur, but I can appreciate the softness on the grass that you achieved with this particular setting on the blur.

If it helps, I thought about removing the jet and chose to leave it in. I also tried no blur, light blur and heavier blur and found, for my tastes, leaving the jet in the air and the guassian blur set to 2.5, suited my tastes:)

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and leave comment.

Thomas, I love this image. The blur lends some characteristics of being an illustration (i.e. non photographic), but I feel it works very effectively, especially given the composition, the light, and the moment. The road leading to the left, the jet to the right, the counterbalancing of the colors. A timeless quality (timeless in the good way) that has me wanting to keep looking at it.
