michael_ward1 0 Posted June 9, 2004 It's difficult for me to comment well on this picture, because it's a genre I really don't understand very much - photos of artwork without much else make me wonder what it is I'm supposed to be seeing, photographically. Which is not to say I don't like photos of statues. It's just that for me to get a hold of it, there has to be something more. Link to comment
jbrand 0 Posted June 9, 2004 I guess I look at the same elements as always--exposure, focus, composition, color, and eye interest. Whether the subject is architectural, still life, nature, etc. means less to me than the angle chosen for viewing, how the frame was filled, was it interesting and in focus, and is the exposure correct.
