I mounted the camera on a steel frame out from the pilots seat. The image was snapped by the jumpmaster sitting in the back by cable release. (re-submitted with frame)

Impressive composition. Even more so thinking of the conditions it was taken. How did you work out the moment in which the jumper would have been at the bottom of the frame? Was the frame repetition rate of your circa1995 camera enough to allow more than one attempt? I am also impressed by having frozen the 'chopper blades with shutter speed which makes the image surprisingly "static"...and the left hand side blade also frames the tail of the 'chopper.

 

Truly impressive!
