giࠦatto! I colori del campo migliorano, il cielo peggiora nettamente! Quindi alla fine la scelta 蠲icaduta su questa.

Beautiful landscape Cristina! I love the comp. and the colors, but I'd like to see it little sharper and a bit more saturated. This is my suggestion - much less then 15 minutes with PS...:)

Rgds, allon.

I'm commenting on this image mainly because it has reached such a high position in the Top Photos page.

Very honestly, this is a very mundane image and I really fail to see why it has generated so much interest. I mean nothing demeaning by that.

I rated it a 3 for aesthetics because it is poorly exposed with over-exposure, poor contrast/saturation. The composition is not particularly interesting. There is no real subject. Even the relationship between the several main subjects is unclear. The high angle of the sun does not contribute much visual interest.

As a reportage image to show that hay bales are located so close to Milan, it has merit, but there is nothing in the image to so identify that proximity or its significance. Only the title tells the viewer the story.

Improvements would include better exposure, shooting when the sun is at a much lower angle. If possible such a scene with a milage sign to Milan would be the touch needed (not that such a shot can necessarily or easily be set up, but that's what this kind of image begs for).

Venicia is saying aloud that the king is naked... The image is flat, the colours dull. This is not what Cristina Fumi has made us to wait from her.

Warm regards, Cristina. You are a great photographer!

I'm really confused. How does this photo differ so much from my "passing through south dakota"? This gets 11+ thousand views, mine gets little more than 1 thounsand views. What's up???

This one doesn't work me because of the light, Cristina. You said that at sunset time the sky was not good: but using a good shaded filter (filtro digradante) you could have a better image than this, and anyway changing the point of view you could get a nice sky. An alternative would be waking up at 4 a.m. and getting the dawn light for the sky...:-b Anyway, Cristina, waiting for your usual beautiful images!

thanks for advice, but with a young daughter and a husband that doesn't help much it's a little difficult to wake up that early... Anyway I'll think about it: thanks for the suggestion

Well, I was quite joking about that, because I know you've a family...so let's leave these less interesting duties to professionals!!! ;-)
