It's true creative photography usually looks "fake" although I prefer some other word like non-realistic. Anyhow you probably did not read my message and technical characteristics before your critique so your thought and critique is justifiafble.

it's true i missed your comment (i think). Anyway what makes it look unrealistic to me is not the sky but the 3 elements on the right: cliff, tower and house. They all have a different tone from one another which gives the impression that they are from 3 separate pictures. This somehow kills the picture for me.

Believe it or not the tower, house and cliffs are part of the original picture. They do look weird though... but it's probably the lighting of the altered skyline that doesn't match with the lighting on the cliffs, tower etc I'll play around with the lighting to see if I get better results and post it....-->here is a different version

I like the new version much better, it still has an eerie feel to it without seeming artificial

PETER i prefer the original version, for someone who has seen the greek countrysite there is nothing non-realistic in the chearch and the rock maybe the sky a little but this is what you wanted to do i think.Giannis.
