Ice station Madesimo

I was very pleased with the texture and the complementary colours of

the weather station and the blue shadows.

I like the diagonals that form from the tops to the station, and also the three disctint planes on land. Gives amazing perspective and geometry. Beautiful picture, congratulations.

The ice station is not what interess me the most in this landscape, but yes it brings a colored touch which contrasts with the blue.

what I like, here, is the ramshackle appearence of the man-made object when compared with the majesty of the mountain towering above it. I've admittely a fix with towering mountains, though.

 

What I like less is the left 30% of the picture. It is clear to me that its darkness was the price to pay for this light, but the contrast with the bright yellow does not really need so much of the left darkness. IMHO that's already achieved just with the shadows directly behind the building: why did you compose in that way and not more to the right? I dare not mentioning post-processing square-cropping, as I know you dislike the idea, though!
