A very complex, spectacular, classical dance-drama of Kerala.

Most noticeable aspect of Kathakali is its elaborate costumes and make-up code. The faces of noble men are painted green. Noble men with an evil streak are also given green make-up but with red streaks on their faces. Pure evil ones wear predominantly red make-up. And so on.
