Black and White Orchid Flower

Image would be a lot stronger if you cropped from the left.

I love b&w studies of flowers...this is lovely...maybe try vertical crop.

I like classical pictures like this, but the contrast should've been higher. The background isn't pushing the flower forward enough.

Thanks for the comments. This photo was actually taken as just a practice shot to test my focus. I was surprised that it came out the way it did! I am by no means a professional photographer. Maybe i'll try to get that shot again, just a little more clear this time! Thanks! --Terry

I think it should be a bit sharper. Would contrast nicely with the softer tones. J.
