Jeroen has wisely spoken : the wide angle use is very impressive. I would personally chop down the pole (hm), but then I would also miss the shadow on the ground. It gets a bit crowded on the left side, too. But I love the arrangement of the houses in front of the forest & the lovely expressionism of the IR film.

I love this! I probably would have rated it a little higher if the dark structure were further to the right and not dominating the center, but that might not even be an option on-site. there are so many cool elements in the picture, and the high contrast makes it striking.

Thanks for all the comments. :) To answer Beth's comment, the dark structure could be moved...if I had a back-hoe. :) The posts are set in concrete, and although I suppose I could have moved the large wooden picnic chairs and tables stored under it, I don't know if the owners of the adjoining restaurant/bar would like such. :) I'll also address another comment by someone else, it's not my place, so again not sure I can chop down or remove the pole without at least annoying people if not getting arrested. :)

Anyway, please feel free to comment on my other shots, positive or negative comments welcome, and thanks for looking!
