Guest Guest Posted June 2, 2004 Removed cars in background. Everything else is pretty much as it was. F8. ISO200. Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted June 2, 2004 The lens flare bothers me. You could clone out if you have the time or inclination. Also, I like the shadows across the road. They add to the image. Good work. Link to comment
pradeep1 0 Posted June 2, 2004 the lens flare bothers me too, first thing that catches ur eye actually, and the background is tad underexposed. cheers! Link to comment
pawel_stradowski 0 Posted June 2, 2004 I have to agree with the lens flare. Besides that it's a clean image (without the flare would be cleaner), but it's a usual photo. I know you are capable of something much more original. Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted June 3, 2004 Sometimes the lens flare adds to a picture, but in this case I think's it's distracting. Other than that, I like the lines and colors in this shot. Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted June 3, 2004 Joe, Pawel and others said it well. Flare in this case perhaps is a personal thing, but majority of folks will find the flare distracting. The scenery is common and there isn't that "something." One good thing about digital is you can shoot whatever you like without the feeling of waste. The downside is that one has to be even more critical about "photo editing." I'm pretty sure most of us are all in the same boat here." Hang loose, Wils Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 3, 2004 yes. It is lacking in creativity. The flare is a 50 / 50 thing for me. I think that if it were a better flare, I might like it more. Thanks everyone, you guys rock! Link to comment
