Good idea and while I like it, I think that the edge of the ledge being right in the middle of the frame is a weakness. I don't feel you need the whole bird in the scene , and so a crop up from the bottom would help, I feel Good

Perhaps lighten the main pigeon a tad?

I like it, the idea is nice and original. If you could use a more wide objective and turned it bw maybe (do not know) it would be better
