This is very nice. you really nailed the contrast and exposure on this. The water is beautiful. Not quite clear, but not the typical water-blur. The texture on the rocks is great also. Very good. The only thing I would change is perhaps darken the sky a bit and see what that looks like.

Perfect exposure on the foreground rocks. They really pull you into this picture.

Great capture! I love the tone of this picture and the different feels from two different kind of rocks.

nearly perfect print, geometrically placed elements, beautiful tonality... the only thing I think is not quite perfect is the placement of the right side of the cliff. I think placing it in the exact middle would work here since you have that little rock on the right side. But it is neither in the middle nor reaching more on the right side... but nevertheless, a pleasure to look at!

Great tones. Did you scan the negative or the hard-copy print? Nicely done.

To Arthur: This is a 6x6 negative scanned in an Epson 4870 flatbed scanner. I did some levels adjustments and unsharp masking in photoshop.

Looks just great Rui, a scene close to my own heart. A wonderful juxtaposition of lines and textures. Why shoot anything else when there are so many variations of rock and water to be found...
