marco ussi 0 Posted June 3, 2004 This photo shows a girl dressed in 13th century clothes writing, but this situation, as I was told, was very unlikely to be seen in those ages. Very few people could read and write in those times and the vast majority of them were men. Most of the girls/women that could write were only lawyers' wives and daughters (in particular the Notary Public's ones) simply because they had to carry on their husband's/father's trade while he was away or when he died. Rates and comments are appreciated, Thanks. Link to comment
allanjensen 0 Posted June 3, 2004 I think this one is nice but suffers from lack of sharpness. I would rate it higher if it had been sharp Link to comment
marco ussi 0 Posted June 3, 2004 Allan, the lack of sharpness is deliberate. I used a heavy "diffuse glow" filter in PS to stress an idea of extreme distance in time from those ages. All pictures of this folders are treated in the same way to purse that idea, I'm sorry that you find this a drawback but thanks anyway. Link to comment
