vitkinb 0 Posted July 30, 2001 I like the kolours and 3d look of your shot. The sky looks simple fantastic in my eyes. But the mountains itself are interesting and I'd like to see more of tham on the photo. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
peter_langfelder 3 Posted July 30, 2001 Nice photo with good lighting. I would try to use a longer lens and back up a bit, so the trees would remain as they are, but the mountains would be a bit larger. I think they are more interesting than the skies. Link to comment
kevin_kolosky 2 Posted August 15, 2001 I am jealous. wish I were there with an 8 x 10 and a box or two of film. nice photo, even though I don't care much for color.Kevin Link to comment
rein_paulides 0 Posted August 22, 2001 Any critique welcome, I also invite you to take a look & critique and/or rate the other photos in this folder. If possible, take a look at the 'large' versions. Hope you enjoy them, thanks! Link to comment
olivia 0 Posted August 22, 2001 You've really captured the quality of light in the California hills. I've sought to balance the glow on the trees with the moody clouds in the background, but you nailed it. One thought: you might want to re-crop the left side as the random green leaves are distracting since you cannot see another tree. Link to comment
g._patrick_barr 0 Posted August 23, 2001 The photo could have been taken in Bakersfield. The Owens Valley has some tremendous scenics, if you could find similarly colored foliage in a more dramatic landscape, you'd have a real winner, I think. Link to comment
juergen_kollmorgen 0 Posted September 11, 2001 again the colors against the grey, very nice. Link to comment
