I would suggest a photo titled Australian family on a day out would have been at the cricket or footy with a pie in one hand and a can of tooheys new in the other geting blind drunk yelling abuse at the umpire.Or a game of beach cricket now thats an aussie day out.

Chris is a Pommy, Darryn, so how would he know WHAT an Australian family does? Once upon a time your own description might have been valid, but nowadays you'd find Mum trolling around a Westfields mega-centre trying to get filter papers for the cappuchino machine, the boys down at Cabramatta buying smack, the girls trying to worm their way into the stage door at an eminem concert, and Dad in his home office trying to figure out how the hell to fill out his BAS form.

 

A well-caught (if not difficult to catch, at that) picture. Once again I love your tones and your sense of humour.

Did you hold the camera around waist level and use the LCD to frame, by any chance? [i'm somewhat interested in trying that.]

Hmm... a pic of a guy taking pic of his family.. or a self-portrait?

Interesting (but not surprising for me), to get two comments from Aussies on this shot, who find it hard to accept that this is an Aussie family.
