Detroit, MI USA - Skyline

valleye

35-50mm or so. 2 sec exposure Polarizing filter. My Camera would not come up with a setting but my friends Minolta said 2 seconds to render the sky so I bracked 1 and two sec at F8. This is the two second exposure.

This is one of the first night time exposures I have done with silde

film. I will never expose night time with negative film again. I

am very happy with the colours and the sharpness. I am getting this

one printed to 8x12 on a Fuji Frontier as an experiment.

Please tell me what you think.

This exposure was taken at F8 for 2 seconds. It was about 9:30 at

night and the sun was just about below the horzion to my left. You

can see a hint of the orange glow on the Renaissance Centre.

That is one good thing about Minolta's metering system, it meters nearly total darkness with acuracy. I have like the blueness of the picture, very good colors. Sensia 100 (changed recently from Sensia II 100) gives good long exposures.
