Star Trails--My House at Night, 1983

I still can't believe I was only 14 years old (almost 15) when I took this! My childhood house at night-time.45 minute timed expsoure in "B" mode, aperture (I THINK) f/8. Sears 8463 tripod, locking cable release. Scanned with HP S20.

Okay, it's an old photo--taken a whopping 21 years ago (almost)! I

was 14 at the time (almost 15), am now 35. Taken with a Nikon EM,

50mm Series E lens, 45 minute timed exposure, Plus-X film, tripod

(obviously). NO alterations at all, scanned with Hewlett-Packard S20.

 

The star trails are obvious. The shiny light near the left is a

lighted tower about 1/2 mile from our house. The light-source near

the left is a yard-light on our lightpole (out of view).
