salvatore.mele 1 Posted May 28, 2004 I usually dislike to just leave "I like it" not-so-witty comments, but I can only say I like it! It has a great light, as you know, and I also like the non-conventional aspect ratio Link to comment
jos www.inpix.biz 0 Posted May 28, 2004 You've made the light the main element...that's very cool! The mountains and fields seem to be there for the light in this photo! Excellent! Link to comment
alienspecimen 0 Posted May 28, 2004 I wander how it would look if you gradually darkened the top half of the sky (not the picture). Good capture. Link to comment
John Crowe 165 Posted May 29, 2004 Awesome lighting! With such a wide composition it looks odd with one foreground tree right on the edge. The dead tree and the "ugly" tree just look awkward in such a beautiful landscape. May I suggest cropping the right just enough to remove these 3 trees and leaving the 2 remaining ones which will give at least a little more border space. In fact because of them being in such high contrast in an otherwise low contrast scene, it is a shame that they are there at all, but you do need the ray of light entering the image the way it does. Still, nicely done! Link to comment
roberto p 0 Posted May 29, 2004 Wonderful light in this superb landscape. Great athmosphere. In my modest opinion the composition works very well. I do not see any crop to make it better. Beautiful image! Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted May 29, 2004 Steve, I'd like to order one of these wall-sized so that I can step into it and never come back. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted June 5, 2004 This may shock you Marcus, but this is a very good photograph. It has something of interest (the lit copse), it has a beutiful, sweeping composition, and it has great use of light. I don't know why I bother since you seem immune to anything but mindless flattery, but in my opinion this pic is a 6 or a 7. Link to comment
robidooo 0 Posted June 11, 2004 I really like how the light was captured. Because of the configuration of the mountains, it makes me feel like the light is comming from two different source. Link to comment
sam hilton 0 Posted June 21, 2004 The composition is perfect. If you cropped out the three trees as suggested above you'd lose the white clouds, half a mountain, the origin of the beams of light and the shape of the picture. I guess you weren't going to change it anyyway Link to comment
