paulstenquist 4 Posted May 28, 2004 I shoot cars for magaines, and I can tell you that this is a great car shot. I would have given it a 7/7 if you had cloned out that white tree trunk growing out of the roof. The car is insignificant, but the shot is very good. Congratulations. Link to comment

kuekat 0 Posted May 28, 2004 The disparity in the ratings is interesting. From 2"s to 7"s thats quite the range? I only wish that people would leave comments to explain the rating they leave, especially the people that rate with no uploaded photos of their own. Thanks to the ones that have left comments. It sure does help when the next time we are going to take a photo to step back and look at it again to see if something could be done differently. Link to comment
behemot3 0 Posted May 28, 2004 Nice colours - and fine reflections - but to be honset it is an ordinary photo - lacks the magic toucz. Anyway - can you rate my photos: http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=395272 thanks jk Link to comment
mark lucas 0 Posted May 28, 2004 Sorry, I don't believe there's a pond there at all. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I smell some photoshop trickery here. Link to comment
kuekat 0 Posted May 29, 2004 The car was indeed shot in front of a pond. Photoshop was used to mount the pic add text and curves was used to correct color. Other than that it is as shot. Link to comment
georgeseymour 0 Posted February 1, 2012 D G.A reflection is what the water sees. Here its seeing the top back of the car's spoiler and top of the roof and inside of other side door, which are completely hidden from the water by the vehicle.I took the image cut out the reflection, flipped it, pasted it back as a layer with 50% transparency and moved it to cover the upper image. There was a perfect match with no parts missing or out of place.Real reflections don't match exactly as they are looking at the object from a different perspective to the one you are viewing it from.Apart form that I like your portfolio especially the flying cat which first attracted to it.
