acrummey 0 Posted August 3, 2001 It took a little work to get this scan presentable. I used the dodge and burn tools to get the details and unsharp mask to sharpen the rather soft scans from my cheap Acer scanner. It now has a tonal range much closer to the actual scene. Any comments or suggestions? Link to comment
mark_johnson5 0 Posted August 3, 2001 try a different crop? do you have any more left of frame on the neg? i'd like to see this with the cropped left added to make a square Link to comment
j_kluska 0 Posted July 30, 2005 Did you soften it? It seems slightly out of focus, but uniformly so... Very interesting location. Between the rocks in the background and the great textures on the building, I'd spend half a morning a and several rolls of film here... Link to comment
j_kluska 0 Posted July 30, 2005 Film selection may causing some issues here too...try using slower film, like Ilford PanF+ (iso 50). It will let you make slightly longer exposures and perhaps pull in some of that shadow detail. Save the 400 stuff for lower light situations. Link to comment
