You have set a high standard with your other skater in this folder. This shot is noticeably not as sharp as the other. Although the reflection and the red is nice, the arm position is not as impactful as in the other.

What I like much more about this one is the illegible advertising in the background.

Ice level shots are very dramatic but if your camera position was a little higher the skater would be completely framed in ice, with no disturbing boards. I often choose a slightly higher angle to frame motorcycle riders head-on without the boards as a backdrop.

Still, an excellent shot!

I found great the presence of the shadow and the reflection.

The billboard on the top -but not its reflection- is slightly disturbing, though... The skater all framed in ice could have been much a greater impact image.

Superb composition. The reflection makes the image.

The background seems to creep in from the top close to the skater's head which is why it is a bit of a distraction for me.
