Great smile and beautiful eyes but her right arm is in kind of an awkward pose. It shows too much definition of her right shoulder

sorry, but i study dance, do figure sculpture, analyze body language, and do photo portraiture. this is NOT an awkward pose. in fact, it's a real winner. anyone would be happy to have this shot in his camera, in her photo album, or in a portfolio. this is what portraiture is about. less is more. almost any technical complaint you might start to make just subsides when you consider the success of the whole. i can't stop admiring.

As far as the photo goes, the pose is awkward, her hair a mess as well as her clothing, and still her smile makes this photo a great piece of work. You know sometimes luck is better than good. :)

What a little pixie! Fantastic smile. What did you say to tickle her so? This is a keeper.

very nice photo. the smile is very genuine, the tone and lighting is great. The pose is far from unnatural. good job.

Of all your portraits, this is my favourite. Not that any ONE of them is the better.

-Although I like the tones/contrast in this.

-Nice composition.
