Looking At Us Mate

harry eggens

Shot taken at Brooks River with the famous Brooks Falls in the background. These two were looking at me while I was taking some pictures of them. Fuji Provia slide film. Aperture F8.0 and shutter time 1/60th of a second to get some movement in the water.Proframe Photography

Like it a lot! I've seen loads of shots like this but the bird and the bear's expression make it a bit more unique. Looks like he's thinking 'Seagull? Human? I wonder which tastes best?'

Really nice work here. The cropping is perfect! If only the gull was just a bit more sideways. Sure hope you were closer to the 200mm wide, rather than the 70! Nice bear...good bear........

BRAVO! Choice of ap and shutter speed work perfectly for the water, bear and gull. Surprised the bear didn't move in a 60th of a second. Did you use mono/tripod, or rely on the VR? Perfect framing (crop) also.

Very Well Done. Great contrasts; bear and bird, water and rocks, diagonal water lines. The composition is great with the active foreground and the backdrop almost framing the whole thing. Excellent expressions too. I've worked in the woods for many years, and this was a lucky find indeed, in my opinion.
