It really looks like a frog doesn't it? Now that you mentioned 'Gecko' then I realised it's a lizard with a head which looks remarkably like a frog. Hehe.

Yes, I can understand why this could be mistaken for a frog - especially given the pose (and feet!). Thanks for the kind comments... I agree about the composition, would have liked the entire bottom foot in there, but don't think the pic suffers too much from it.

Great portrait. The shallow depth of field works nicely, here, and the gecko's head is at an interesting angle. If you had not cropped the right leg this would have been pefect.

Really nice and fun! Great macro shot, I would have preferred a little tighter DOF, but it's my modest opinion. Congrats!
