Is the hair on her neck on purpose ?

Good lighting, the background is simple enought not to feel disturbing. And the model is beautiful, and I also like the way her hair goes around her neck and the calmness of her expression. But those shadow areas under her eyes are a miniscule defect in this kind of a photo. Also it seems that her head is not resting comfortably and might even be in air (because of her hair and the angle of her wrist)- this makes the photo a bit uncomfortable and restless. But I have to say I like it nonetheless.

Thanks for the critique, your help and comments are greatly appreciated. The head is on the back rest of the sofa, her hair covers the union of the back rest and arm rest. I will take your advise on this pics and also let her know you think she is beutiful.

again - you are working with lovely subjects. This shot is well done. For me, a possible way to do things differently would be to see about having some form of a reflector , even just a white sheet to bring a little more light to the left side of her face - still a beautiful shot - well done
