What an image - I'm in awe of your skills in capturing the amazing movement and drama in this image. Congrats Paul...

Thanks everyone for your comments. Chris, I had one version where after adjusting the levels, all the colours were blackened out and all you had were parts of her body popping out of the dark. An interesing image but....I wasn't sure I wanted to go that way.

What a marvelous capture, Amar!!! This is simply stunning! I would never in a million years even THINK to take a picture like this...but oh, how I wish I HAD taken it! ;-)

I think the desaturated colors make this far more interesting than it would have been in full color--or in black and white...that foot really pops right out at you--and the lively look on the woman's face--upside down--wow!!!

Did I mention I think this is stunning?! :-)

Thanks Aurora. Much credit goes to RR, the dancer who performed this for me. I took another shot of her in this position, but from a different angle. It is in the same folder that this one appears, in fact right above it. Have a look when you get a chance. Thanks again for letting me know what you think about the image.

Very interesting and original, with a great angle. My little regrets, although I like the picture, would be: 1. The lower left leg disappears a bit too much perhaps; 2. I would like a slightly larger frame, with as much black left as there is on the right - dance needs space, right. Cheers, and thanks a lot for your interesting comment.

Thanks a lot for your time Marc and your comments. You have a good point as to the leg, although I would probably keep it as is. However, something I would certainly consider more is adding more space to the left. My original idea was probably not have it too centered, arguably a phase at the time I uploaded the image. Of course, this would have been more rational had the framing been more of a horizontal dynamic than a vertical one.
