evrim_icoz 0 Posted July 25, 2001 This was at the beach, many people thought it was the sun, but it is the moon... It kind of has peaceful nature, what do you think? Link to comment
bernd_gaertner 0 Posted July 26, 2001 I really like the way you caught the water. What I don't like is this blob of light which is supposed to be the moon. Of course, when you expose for the water, the moon gets overexposed. A classical scenario for a graduated density filter. This would have allowed you to expose the moon and the water correctly. Unless of course, you know all this and you deliberately chose to overexpose the moon to create the blob effect. In this case, I think you didn't do well. Link to comment
calloway 0 Posted July 26, 2001 I don't really mind the blobbish moon very much. The aspects of the picture that bug me are the tilted horizon and the lighted object in the lower left that appears to be generating another yellowish stripe. I would crop the picture tighter on the sides and perhaps rotate the picture slightly to try to fix the horizon. Link to comment
noahbryant 0 Posted December 15, 2001 There's no ND filter in the world that would correctly expose both the moon and the water. I like photos where the moon is used instead of the sun for lighting very much. Very surreal. Good shot Link to comment
