Taken from our drifting dingy with the motor off and my 80-200mm Nikon ED f/2.8 with a Sigma 2x. All of this stuff mounted on a Bush Hawk shoulder stock with a Gitzo monopond jamed into the dingy to hold all this stuff steady at 400mm open to f/5.6 This image is a small part of the whole falls. The falls came from the ice field hunderds and hunderds of feet above the surface of the forjd. Thundering down the cliff face in a awesome display of savage beauty. I took about a dozen or so shots. Most came out sharp. I like the mostly frozen water contrasting sharply with the black rocks and background giving it a abstract quality which when it works I love so well. Worked in photshop very little. Brightness and contrast and croping. Wish I could afford a Gryro Stabilizer!
