This image keeps appearing when I look at people's top-rated pictures (especially those people whose work I like). I think it deserves it, top class shot.

of the movie "y tu mama tambien" ---the man shrinks and his lover is cast into a world of sadness....they separate. and one day he comes back and lives in her vagina. sounds a little odd, but it fits really well in the movie. fantastic! i love it...

My first thought was of a very memorable scene in Almodovar's "Talk To Her." But regardless, excellent work, Chris.

I saw this picture first many months ago, and keep coming back to it. I feel it could become an emblematic picture. You have put a landscape, an abstract, a nude, a painting, a story (or better a fairy tail) into one single picture. The miracle is that the structure remains as simple as it can! By the way, the title is very neat, however the atmosphere is more connected to The Little Prince in my view.

Looks like there are two folks brining up the rear. Title the image seven dwarves. Nice shot though. Reminds me of Bradford Washburn. Ansel once told Bradford that he ruined his shots by putting people in his landscapes. As both you and Bradford show, people give images like these not only scale but also the depth of human interaction with our planet. Sorry to quote The North Face (clothing company) but, "Astronauts on Planet Earth."

Excellent photography. Compositon, colors (duoton?), ration between two main actors. I think that shape of landscape, that looks like body (in two ways, all together and only front part, with belly) is the reason that makes this phot different and better than other snowy scenes.

What a truly unique capture! This is both highly creative and spectacularly executed. I am impressed with your choice of exposure...really letting the shadows in the background of the image highlight your lighter subject, while the sillouettes of the people stand out.

I wonder about the color cast (red...magenta?) I'm not sure if this was intentional or a result of uploading, but I'd be interested to see a pure black and white conversion. I think it might be even stronger.
