I think it is hard to compete with press photographers in this situation. They have the very expensive telephoto lenses which can give a closer view of the situation...This is a good attempt, but it doesn't convey the close-up drama that is required...See the latest photos from Israel or Gaza..

I think it works very well as-is as a counterpoint to the more typical pro shots. The images in the reflection tell me a lot about the situation.
