When I jumped in the water I "landed" in the middle of this group of..?..OK, fish. I took this

one shot and then they were gone. They were probably on their way back from a visit to

the toilet bowls, which are a little farther away.

lovely! excellent shapes going on and the colour is beautiful. ive never shot underwater, what aperture/ss did you use here?

I always use the same aperture - f5.6. The Nikonos V is not an autofocus camera, and it's not an SLR. This means I have no way of knowing what's sharp and what isn't, other than checking the sharpness range on the lens itself. The advantage is that when I'm using my 15mm. lens and set my aperture to f5.6 and set the focus on the lens to the right setting, I get focus from 0.5m until infinity. That pretty much covers everything, except close up. I have to check, however, if the shutter speed falls within the working range of the flash. Thanks for your comments and interest.
