Rape Field

Very nice moment and composition; i would tone the yellow down a bit, it does not have to be SOO saturated - it is strong enough without.

Very intersting contrast of bw and yellow. Good work.

i like the b&w sky here, like most of us would.. but at the same time, I would love to see a blue one.. for the sake of the yellow foreground - yellow and blue make good contrast, but yes,.. it would have been a different photo then.

Nice shot with excellent composition. Some of the comments suggest that the sky was converted to B&W or that this is a montage. I don't get that sense from your exposure details. Not that it matters, excellently done either way.

Thanks Mario. The crop is called 'rape' or 'rapeseed' - nothing to do with the other meaning of the word which is presumably where your question originates from?

Lovely and Moody Indeed... puts me in mind of a rape seed oil adventure my wife and I had in Nice on the Riviera... but that's another story best left in the past...

The composition and post processing are excellent. I would have wanted to have the foreground in focus. I think it would not detract from the image if this had been done.
