Inspired by Terje Hellesö, this my attempt to show a hidden view of nature, commonly seen as ordinary. What do you think? Walking out in the woods, we are surrounded by numerous objects creating a chaos of shapes. With every step we go, we hope for a unique image to appear. What we often forget, is that for every step forward, there are hundreds if not thousands images left behind. We have to really understand this fact, and take time enough to find and capture these images. Sometimes time isn't enough. A calm state of mind, and an openness to finding things beyond our expectations is necessary. So next time you walk by a forest, stop in a spot of your likeing where the feeling in your stomach feels right. Stop and listen to the sounds, watch the elements around you, and you will be amazed of what things there is to discover. A macro lens is strongly suggested though, even if a wide angle lens also is suitable, but harder to master in my opinion. occansions the mind has to be in a calm state

Thank you very much for your kind words, Tuhin! Innovative? Perhaps it is even if I haven't thought in those terms before. I have to take more of these kind of photos, then! :)

Maybe its just my computer monitor but I can hardly discern anything in the compostion that would make this a great picture. I also dont see how it relates to the title. I applogize for my rating because maybe it is just my monitor...

Thanks for taking the time. I respect your opinion to the fullest. Would be interesting though to know how your monitor is calibrated. My is at 5500 Kelvin. If you have yours at a higher degree, the image may seem to coold and less appealing. Also if the monitor is set too dark, the image looses some of its magic.

Take care,

Daniel Aurelll
