katie s 0 Posted July 25, 2001 This photo was taken about 8am on a very cold mountains morning. Canon EOS 500 - Lens 80-200mm - Film Kodak 200iso. I have been advised that a gradulating filter would have helped with the sky. Are there any furtehr aspects that you believe I could have used to enhance this photo even more.. Looks more like Japan than Australia.!! Link to comment
tom_mccoy 0 Posted July 25, 2001 Nice composition I like the tree in the foreground. I don't agree that the grad filter would be needed since the trees are already black. I might consider -1 stop overall would resolve the light sky, I love the clouds below. Link to comment
charles_miller 0 Posted July 25, 2001 The background is wonderfull and dazzling, but I feel the foreground, particularly the center of the frame, is a little bit too busy. Link to comment
tedrttr 0 Posted July 26, 2001 I think there are too many twigs on the right side, the ones that criss cross, they are distracting, imagine what the picture would look like without them and leave the small tree on the right side in, and yes, a graduated grey filter would have added more detail to the sky.
