eric_jordan1 0 Posted July 30, 2001 It is no masterpiece like you said, but not totaly bad either. I know how hard it is to photograph moths and other insects, they can drive you crazy trying to catch up with them. My advise is to use a good fluid tripod and a long lens. The trick with your camera focusing is to learn how to manualy focus fast. I have the same camera you do and love it, but close up focusing is not to fast unfortunatley. I usually spot meter and lock in the exposure and apature, usually f8-f11 with my macro lenses, so all I have to do is pan around, fine tune my focus and shoot. I have a butterfly on a flower in my Nature folder that I took that way and it turned out nice, to me at least, if you want to see it. Keep up the shooting. Link to comment
pawel oziemblowski 0 Posted August 4, 2001 It was a little bit difficult to catch these butterflies since were flying from one place to another and following one another. It's not a masterpiece rather a lucky snapshot with macro lens, but I'd like to get any feedback on this. Link to comment
