But seriously, I'm confused: you request a comment on the stencil itself or the picture? I don't think many on PN understand que est-que-ce voudrait dire, let alone who Balut is. A little background so we can give better feedback?

Well, I realise that the sense of this picture is not obvious..

First the traduction of the stencil: "Lasts will be the lasts" inverse to "common" sentence saying that "firsts will be the lasts"...or "Lasts will the firsts" (depending how you want to take it ;)

Then, Igor Balut: Balut is actually the alias of Gaspard Delanoé who is the speaker of an association of artists who are squating a whole building on a major street in Paris. At the second floor of this building there is a free "museum", the "musée Igor Balut.

So the thing about this squat is that the artists are using the walls (and the street) to expose their works.

I took this picture on one of the buildings which was used as a Gallery (but which is not the most famous one..). Please take a look on the picture of this building that I have uploaded where you'll can see from where the stencil is taken.

I'll make some pictures of the "main" squat which trully deserve to be shot and offer some good pictures to make...
