Cropped. saturation increased. Some sharpening. Also removed trees to the right of train and spent a little more time cleaning this one up as a whole. Hope you like the improved version. I really like the Sepia tone here.

Thank you Beth and Juan. I love Sepia myself, but this picture seems to work better for me in color.

I like the idea of the photo itself! I also like the other versions as well. I could only wonder that if you cropped just a little bit more from the bottom it would give an impression that the train is not standing on the tract but gravel... could or could not be interesting. Anyways I like it a lot.

 

By do way, I'm using Nikon F5 and Nikkor lenses and I'm considering a purchase of D70, for everyday use. How is is doing? Are satisfied with the quality? I will appreciate your input.

Thanks David. This was my first shoot using the D70 and I've been quite pleased with it so far.
