This was the last photo of the day I took on an otherwise disappointing Safari day at the

wonderful Masaai Mara Game Resere. The intense colours of the grass are true to the

original slide. The colours of the sunset light were something extraordinary during my

entire trip there. Go there!

Johannes: The light and composition in this picture turn the simple into art. However, adjusting the levels in photoshop will render a more realistic look for your picture. If you do not know how to use levels, use de autolevels feature in Photoshop to see the result. I did this, and the green on the tree came out of the darkness, the sky became a bit lighter and the grasses did the same. To further bring the green out in the tree I used the dodge tool and it worked for me. If you like the picture as is. Don't make any changes...but if you are curious about what you can get of of it, work it.

Good work!

Thank you very much for your advice. I did lighten up the tree a little. The sky and the grass, however, I'll leave as is because that's the way I remember it. Cheers.

This is so simple yet so stunning... so minimal yet saying so much. I think you have captured one aspect of the beauty that is Africa... Thanks! You inspire me!

Nice composition + very nice colors = Superb work. Hard to believe in such saturation, but it is true. Best regards.---David

After watching your work, you do me a great honor by rating 7/7 my picture "A walk in the Clouds". I believe your pictures are beautiful.

Byunghak; The colours are like that on the slide. I did lighten up the tree on PS because it was a little too dark. Credit for that goes to LEO GARCIA, who pointed this out to me, earlier.
