horizontal format Leading Lines

This photo was taken on my recent trip to Death Valley National Park

early in the morning. It was an exceptionally clear as seen by the

exceptional amount of details in the mountains of Amargosa Range in

the background. All ratings and comments are welcome.

Oops...After reviewing my logs, I realized that this photo was taken on Mesquite Dunes. :-))

I like the fact that you can actually see the grain of sand in this photo (when the image is viewed large).

Like the zoomed in shot seems a little more interesting, nice shot

You were quick to rate my photo, so I decided to visit yours to find something I haven't seen yet! There this was ...this is one of dream shots, lines on the sand ...great depth of field, and exposure is right on!

Just enough clouds to not make it too busy.

Great depth and detail in the sand and the distant mountains. What amazed me about being here was the lack of people and "no footprints", but then I guess the afternoon winds take care of this and the very long dirt road to get here, I think I will come from the west next time.(: Excellent work Jay!!

Death Valley is a magnificent place and a photographers dream come true. This was my first trip to the Death Valley...I still have lot to learn and can hardly wait to go back there again. :-))

Very nice panorama and colour tones.

Double wow! I am not a nature photographer but I am astounded by this one...the lines the sand...still trying to close my open jaw.
