A cute baby. One of my first rolls of film. Any help is good help!

Just practicing with the camera on the 4th of july out at the lake

and I saw a baby who was very interested in me. Just waited for good

eye contact and got the picture.

 

Good? Bad?

 

I I think it would have been much better w/o the man's feet in the

background and instead was solid green grass, but other than that I'm

pleased with it.

I do not like background /legs.../ and to tight crop from bottom/missing hand/.

I would try to remove the persons feet in the background. It does not seem to serve a purpose, and tends to distract from the subject.

Yeah, the legs in the background were an obvious flaw. I didn't feel like telling a complete stranger to get up :)

 

And now that you mentioned the cropping, yeah I see I didn't do a very good job on the bottom half :(

 

The more I look at it, it seems a little washed out, too light overall. Maybe its just me, but that's another impression I had. Thanks for the feedback.

his/her mother would love it! In the circumstances I think you did ok. Better to capture the moment than dream about a studio shot!
