Very strange distortion! May be you cropped a bit right side. Usually, this kind of wide angle lens usage is risky but this provoked certain uneasiness, with a help of movement, that caught my eyes. So the photograph is interesting! Bravo.

I wouldn't crop at all. She is nicely framed by the door and the object on the left. The 21mm was used perfectly. This picture is so sweet. The longer I look the more I like it. Her expression is wonderfull.

Thanks for all the comments. This is cropped top & bottom, sadly, only because my large print wouldn't fit on my scanner. The camera, with 21mm lens, is great. I shot this at 1/8 second hand-held which is why you can see movement in her hands.

I am not entirely sure what to make of this hauntingly disturbing quality to the image. The aesthetic impact however is certainly there.
