Madison River Reflections

This was taken this February in Yellowstone. Suggestions for next

time I'm down that way?

Beautiful shot, the reflections are wonderful. Good overall tonal range, but wonder if the ground isn't too bright (washed out) in some areas. Might like to see how 1/3 to 1/2 less exposure would effect this.

I like the composition of the picture. Agree with Jim about the ground. Is that snow which reflects the light?

Perhaps a perfect composition. Very good exposure and tonality.

Yeah, that's snow. It's kinda difficult to expose snow for detail and not have the rest of the picture too dark. Ah well.

I thought digital cameras could do everything. Well, this is something that only the zone system could have saved. At least N-2. Beautiful shot, too bad it wasn't large format so that it could be 6 feet wide on a wall.

I think this is one of your most successful landscapes. The river just swallows you into the rest of the photo.
