johannes_felten 0 Posted May 8, 2004 The crevice into which my friend Euge and I dived was too narrow for us both to enter at the same time (and not because we're too fat), so I dived first so that I could take this photo from below, with him silhouetted against the sky. In this shot I made the "mistake" of breathing out from my regulator, causing all the bubbles, just when I pressed the shutter. In the end, however, I preffered this shot to the subsequent "clean" ones I made. Link to comment

mark lucas 0 Posted May 9, 2004 Johannes, great capture. Good composition also - the bubbles frame the diver nicely. Link to comment
euge 0 Posted May 10, 2004 Just the best. I happen to be the subject of this photo although I was unaware that it would have such an impact. The bubbles definitely express the diving experience and the adventure. Link to comment
f1-fanatic 0 Posted May 15, 2004 Your work here is very reminiscent of the late Jim Church. I just might have to get my regulator overhauled! Please keep them coming. -N Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted May 25, 2004 Nice. Reminds me of the time I was in Bunaken Marine Reserve, Manado. The wall was awesome and looking above like you I saw my bubbles and all sorts of incredible reef growths and fishes by the side. Link to comment
nikos 0 Posted July 23, 2004 Common U/W photo trick.. but the backdrop lighting, the pose of your buddy and the perfect rendering of the bubbles makes this one quite exceptional. Excellent execution, very interesting result! Your entire UW portfolio is very impressive! Link to comment
