atkphotoworks 0 Posted May 5, 2004 I don't know you caught something fantasic here Vik. First, I like that she is off centered and to the right. Also, she seems so small and the water so very imposing, yet it creates an interesting dynamic. A suggestion might be to crop the bottom bank portion so that it's almost as though she were standing on water. Link to comment

alecee 0 Posted May 5, 2004 Beautiful but I'm sure many will ask why you cropped the legs Link to comment
mehmet_can 0 Posted May 5, 2004 spot on 3D effect you've got, very good picture well done. I agree with Alec Ee, full legs would be better. Link to comment

thomas_turk 0 Posted May 6, 2004 The left side, horizontal, in line with her head, strip of white light, needs to be blanked off, to keep the eyes on the model. About one fifth of the pix. Then MAYBE one stop down, just for comparison, to make the shot more balanced in light and dark, and to more dramatise the model. Background contrasts, unposed natural stance fine. Lighting a little more from the back would have made it more dimensional. Good perspective. Interesting postioning of the model, with the background above her filling the scene, showing nature more prominent than humanity...We patiently await yr fuji for super natural color. Link to comment
focus mankind 0 Posted May 6, 2004 sometimes I just don't understand the ratings. To me it's a more than 5.4 or so. Link to comment
vikram_bose_mullick 0 Posted May 6, 2004 thanks focus.. I think it is becuase I discourage my friends within the PN community from rating my work. (except for those whom I know will give me a fair rating). Link to comment
charmianjoy 0 Posted August 22, 2008 Put the camera down, and give this model some food...no I'm just kidding, but that is what you said about a photo of ME in Joshua Heidorn's portfolio, and I am very well fed thank you very much. Just thought I'd give it back to ya. haha. Well you have some nice compositions so kudos for at least that. Link to comment
