I like the pretty baby!!! excell sharpness, though i would have preferred the left eye more in focus. Was it done intentionally to creat a soft effect?

there are 2 reasons here, one i didnt have much DOF control with my canon G2 and secondly i wanted the eyes to move to the eye in the background.

What a creatively wonderful image. Don't we all wish we could view the world through the eyes of a child? It would make it so much more interesting and peaceful. What innocence, what wonder! What a nice job!

I second your thoughts, I always felt it would be so nice to just remain a child forever :) cheers!

I think placing the focus on the right-most eye (the childs' left) is what does it for me. If it were in the left-most eye (the childs' right) the impact would be lost. As the viewer, I have to move across the whole image before finding what is "in focus" therefore I see more of the image than if the other eye were in focus. I'm not sure if that makes sense to anyone else but me :)

its a great image really.........but,i personally feel that all the touch-ups and editing done on the ps has made it what it is and if you are the photographer as well as the editor of it,kudos to you.....a great job,as i have said....this is performance.

the focus on the left eye is just amazing: there's so much to see in that deep beautiful dark eye so well framed by its cils. the skin tone and the slight out of focus add to it. Great job!

The baby is adorable. She looks like she's held the whole world up in her eyes . I like the " i know it all " smile she's got on her lips .I was a little doubtful on the focus on the right eye, but read your explanation on what u had in mind while taking the shot. Its beautiful !!!!!!!
