gerard 0 Posted July 24, 2001 What would you like in color? The white feathers of the black spider? :-) Greetings, and thanks for rating my pic. Gerard. Link to comment
gerard 0 Posted August 3, 2001 Most macro work you see arround is "Color in ya' eyes" stuff. Seeing a particular lack of b&w in this area, I've proposed myself the project of making an small portfolio of it. I'd like to hear your comments on how am I doing it and points to look after. Thanks a lot, Gerard. PS: in the same folder you'll find two other images on this project... just in case you like to have a look. Link to comment
stephen_bate 0 Posted August 3, 2001 and am guilty of the colour trip myself. Just taken to doing some B&W macro to balance the books! I love this particular pic, for me the DOF is just great, keep it coming. Link to comment

davebulow 0 Posted February 14, 2003 Simple and beautiful with a bit of comedy mixed in. Nice stuff.. Good choice in using infra-red film. Seems to have done the trick well here too. Keep up the good work. Link to comment
kezia 0 Posted March 20, 2003 Not one for the web (weak joke!) and hence the lowish ratings, but I suspect this is much better in enlargement because the the clear to soft focus is perfectly placed. I feel there may be too much of the black area on the left; it unbalances the composition a bit. I love your black-and-white macro folder and now I'm going back to rate the spider and fly photo, which I think is wonderful. Link to comment
