I think the bull's eye is a problem in this case, largely because of the large dark uninteresting area to the right of the lighthouse. The rocks in the water to the left look like they could be interesting, so try re-framing with the lighthouse to the right of the frame, looking out over the water and rocks. Also, see if you can do something about the burnt-out cloud above the lighthouse.

The bullseye is fine with me. Keeps the focus on the lighthouse. Don't like that overexposed cloud, though. Gotta watch those histograms!

I agree with Paul in that I would crop out the visually uninteresting right side of the image which would move the lighthouse from the center. I actually like the overexposed cloud for its visual intensity.
