Jenifer Selwa Photography 0 Posted April 29, 2004 Jay, this is lovely. When I first saw it, I thought it was an autumn shot from the color hue and warm tones. Great composition with the right amount of time lapse! Link to comment
thomas_turk 0 Posted April 29, 2004 Excellent shutter speed to get the water motion, without turning it inot ice or mist. Stict clear composition. The sun lit parts, such as in the trees in the background, dead log on the left, wet stones, and parts on the right, lack sparkle, vibrancy and life. The digits dont YET allow us that pleasure... vincetylor 0 Posted May 1, 2004 Nothing wrong with this one Jay! I really like the perfect lighting and exposure here. I perhaps wouln't mind seeing one focusing even more on the bridge (perhaps a bit closer) but this one is really nice just as is! Link to comment
jay_patel 0 Posted May 1, 2004 Thank you all for your comments and ratings. When I moved in closer to the bridge, I lost the curve in the river (that appears at the bottom of the photo). Without that curve the photo looked rather ordinary...so, I decided to keep this one instead. Link to comment
donpaulson 0 Posted May 28, 2004 Jay, Just checked out your portfolio - very impressive! Lots of great images, like this one, of my "home turf" in Washington. Link to comment
marcadamus 1 Posted April 30, 2005 This is one of my favorite places on Earth. You have done justice to it with this shot. Viewing the larger option, this is almost beyond the detail that I would ever expect from a computer monitor. The colors are warm and pleasant. The lighting creates some depth and draws the eye into the Autumn foliage beyond. The shutter speed was perfect to create a sense of motion, and yet tranquility. In short, this is as good as it gets Jay. Thank you! 7/7 Link to comment
