leslie_jones 0 Posted April 27, 2004 This photo was taken during the sunset hense the yellow hues. Can I please have your comments. Should I soften it? Should I remove the horrizontal bar in the window frame? Comments are welcome - thx. Link to comment
leslie_jones 0 Posted April 28, 2004 I am curious. One member has rated this picture as a 6 - 6 and Jason Janofsky has rated it as a 1 - 1. Jason, I would appreciate it if you could include a comment with such a crappy rating. Can you please provide one? Thx - Leslie Link to comment
witolda_maruszewska 0 Posted April 28, 2004 I quite like this shot - the pose is great, the lighting is really atmospheric and the composition comes together pretty well. What does bring it down however is the focusing which, rather than being on the subject, seems to have locked onto the window frame instead (the area of greatest contrast in the scene) and then also the lack of overall sharpness throughout the image. As a consequence, the image unfortunately lacks the *pop* that a great photo should have, though this is certainly more down to camera capability than photographer capability. Link to comment
leslie_jones 0 Posted April 29, 2004 Thank you so much. I was very discouraged by the one low rating and I appreciate your input. I plan to purchase a better camera as I am having a lot of fun learning the art of photography. My cat seems to also enjoy the modelling. Link to comment
