LenMarriott 9 Posted July 19, 2001 If you don't agree that the result is the best one could hope for given the subject your opinion(s) would be graciously received. LM. Link to comment
jim hathaway 0 Posted July 19, 2001 I like the graininess, but I think your scan is a little light. See the area around the horizon at the left of frame. Link to comment
jeff_clark 0 Posted July 20, 2001 The grain is nice. Looks like an old salt print. You're going to have to do a lot of work on the contrast in the dark room with some magenta. Lose the graded papers, and get multigrade paper for a dichro color head. You'll go far with that combination. Link to comment
christian deichert 1 Posted January 2, 2003 The grain gives a great effect. The only thing I don't like is that my eye gets lost in the white foreground field; it needs a dark border for web use. Very stark and interesting composition; I like the balance of the two curving hills. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted December 28, 2003 Christian, Good suggestion. Done! At the time of the original posting I wasn't able to do frames. Thanks for the suggestion. Best, LM. Link to comment
lrenard 0 Posted October 19, 2008 this is a very nice shot. I like the "grain" also of the film. it re-enforce the lonelyless of the winter. I like also the way we image to ear foot in the snow somewhere back of the tree...very nice bravo Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted October 19, 2008 Laurent, This is an old shot & I like to think I've advanced somewhat from where I was (photographically speaking) when I posted this one. I agree, though, with your comments & thank you for them. I know you had to dig deep into my portfolio to come up with this gem. Interesting that you should pick this out of 300+ shots to comment on. Guess I'll leave it in. :-) Best, LM. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted October 6, 2012 I decided to update this oldie by scanning the original T-Max 3200 negative on a Minolta Scan Dual ll and running it through Photoshop. Hope this new offering is seen as an improvement! Best, LM. Link to comment
